Mad
By Ne-Yo
see relatedWhy do parents make things complicated?
I can't stand the fact that both of them can't just cooperate and understand each other once. What is the point to hang on to something that will not make a difference if it's gone. What is there to argue about? They just fabricate absurd things to quarrel about, and in the end they both still don't know how humiliating their child feels being in the center of this sandwich. I really hate it when they drag me into the picture and find excuses for things. I really hate...I really do, and I'm tired of it. This is what they call themselves "immature" adults, but all I see are stubborn and adolescence behavior coming from them. Although they are separated for almost 8 years, from this day what's the point of arguing on things? What is the result they want to get from these stupid acts? What a healthy childhood year for me, from second grade when they separated up until now, where I'm in college. My parents are so considerate (right). I don't want to called them self-fish, but for sure my feelings are invisible to them. I'm really stressed out... no one understands how I feel (includes my sisters).
I know I am not the only person in the world that experience hardship. There are people that have gone through worst. I'm really motivated for those who can stand strong and still be confident. I'm done rambling here, hang in there for those who have hardships, fight it through.

Strawberry Yogurt Mask!
Restless nights of studying for Physic midterm and writing a paper it's finally done! Having 3-4 hours or no sleep at all is not fun. As you know we need at least 8 hours of sleep in order to maintain a healthy system for our body. You know just like us our body is no machine it needs to be recharge and rejuvenate so our respiratory system won't break down! (think about cramming...it's not good). Another thing is the lack of sleep is a result of getting eye bags and tired skin!!!(sigh)
So what I am going to do is give myself and my skin a treat with Homemade Strawberry Yogurt Mask! Yeah, you know yogurt mask these days are getting popular along with yogurt. Sounds tasty right?
Ok in order to make a yogurt mask here are the ingredients you need :
3-4 Strawberries
Plain yogurt
ground oatmeal
Olive oil
I have to point out to you guys that these ingredients are all natural and they benefits your skin! No kidding!
I'll talk about it briefly:
Strawberries: Contains vitamin C and salicylic acid (which is generally use for acnes)
Yogurt: Natural lactic acid and it's anti-bacterial. (It's good for killing bacteria on your skin!)
Oatmeal: Relieve dryness, heals minor irritations and works great as a natural exfoliating scrub! (a plus for sensitive skin)
Olive oil: Closest to our natural oil so not only it restores our moisture, it's suppose to be good for healing redness on skin too!
Alright enough of Introductory stuff and let's get moving!
Step 1: What you need to do is smash all the strawberries into tiny pieces with a fork in a container. You will notice all the strawberries becomes watery (those are salicylic acids!).
Step 2: Pour in plain yogurt (the regular/tiny ones) into the container.
Step 3: Add one teaspoon of olive oil to the yogurt and mix well.
Step 4: Finally throw in enough oat meal so the yogurt won't be too watery but kind of a creamy.
You can now carefully put it on your face and relax for 15 mins. When you're done refrigerate the leftovers so you can use it within the next 3-4 days. Oh! and before you wash it off with luke warm water remember to massage your face in circulare motion. That way your skin can be exfoliated with the oatmeals and absorb those nutrients. Pat dry after rinsing.
That was easy right and relaxing right? Every once in a while you have to give yourself a break and give yourself a treat. It's a good way to award yourself from going through harsh days! End of post today and take care!

(T)Tasha - Black Happiness
Just came through this song today while browsing through YouTube. This is a Korean singer her background is half-african/korean and this song is pretty much a glimpse about her life story. I got to say I'm pretty impress of her rapping, although I'm not really a big fan of this genre...check it out. :D
Lyrics:
My skin was dark from my past
People used to point at me
Even at my mom Even at my dad who was black, and in the army
People whisper behind my back
Said this and said that
I always had tears in my eyes
Although I was young
I saw my mother's sadness
Everything
seemed like it was my fault
Because of my guilt
I washed my face everytime during the day
With my tears I melt the white soap
I always hated my dark skin
why O why
Does the world judge me
When I hate the world
I close my eyes
I put my soul into the music my father gave me
I feel the volume
And fly higher and higher
Far away
la musique
(When I hate the world)
(Music soothes me)
(you gotta hold on)
(and love yourself)
(When I hate the world)
(Music raises me up)
(so you gotta be strong)
(you gotta hold on)
(and love yourself)
Time passed and I was thirteen
My skin was dark brown
Music doesn't judge color
They give me light
I lead my music
We lean on eachother
I don't feel lonely
Then one day
I was given a chance
I held on to my microphone
And suddenly I was on stage
I say goodbye to music and ask it to come back
Then I became nineteen
I have to lie
I put white makeup over my face
They told me to wear a mask
They said my mom's race was okay
But not my dad's
Every year my age was nineteen
During times when time stopped
I felt like I was in jail
And I leaned on myself
I spent endless, painful days
I ignored their warnings
And because I missed music
I tried to escape
But no, I got caught
I prayed all night
And now I'm free*credits to Youtube.
