  • Strawberry Yogurt Mask!

Restless nights of studying for Physic midterm and writing a paper it's finally done! Having 3-4 hours or no sleep at all is not fun.  As you know we need at least 8 hours of sleep in order to maintain a healthy system for our body. You know just like us our body is no machine it needs to be recharge and rejuvenate so our respiratory system won't break down! (think about cramming...it's not good). Another thing is the lack of sleep is a result of getting eye bags and tired skin!!!(sigh)
So what I am going to do is give myself and my skin a treat with Homemade Strawberry Yogurt Mask! Yeah, you know yogurt mask these days are getting popular along with yogurt. Sounds tasty right?

Ok in order to make a yogurt mask here are the ingredients you need :

    3-4 Strawberries

    Plain yogurt

    ground oatmeal

    Olive oil

I have to point out to you guys that these ingredients are all natural and they benefits your skin! No kidding!
    I'll talk about it briefly:
Strawberries: Contains vitamin C and salicylic acid (which is generally use for acnes)
Yogurt: Natural lactic acid and it's anti-bacterial. (It's good for killing bacteria on your skin!)
Oatmeal: Relieve dryness, heals minor irritations and works great as a natural exfoliating scrub! (a plus for sensitive skin)
Olive oil: Closest to our natural oil so not only it restores our moisture, it's suppose to be good for healing redness on skin too!

Alright enough of Introductory stuff and let's get moving!

Step 1: What you need to do is smash all the strawberries into tiny pieces with a fork in a container. You will notice all the strawberries becomes watery (those are salicylic acids!).
Step 2: Pour in plain yogurt (the regular/tiny ones) into the container.
Step 3: Add one teaspoon of olive oil to the yogurt and mix well.
Step 4: Finally throw in enough oat meal so the yogurt won't be too watery but kind of a creamy.

You can now carefully put it on your face and relax for 15 mins. When you're done refrigerate the leftovers so you can use it within the next 3-4 days. Oh! and before you wash it off with luke warm water remember to massage your face in circulare motion. That way your skin can be exfoliated with the oatmeals and absorb those nutrients. Pat dry after rinsing.

That was easy right and relaxing right? Every once in a while you have to give yourself a break and give yourself a treat. It's a good way to award yourself from going through harsh days! End of post today and take care!
